SKYWARN Fall Training Class

The National Weather Service in conjunction with Northeast Louisiana Skywarn and the Ouachita Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness conducted a Skywarn Storm Spotter Class on Saturday, February 12th. Another class is scheduled for later in the year.

Class last approximately 2 hours and is free of change and open to anyone with an interest in severe weather and helping report information to the National Weather Service during severe weather events.

Storm Spotters serve as the eyes and ears to the National Weather Service helping to verify radar data with eye witness information thus saving time and possibly even lives.
