August 20, 2009 - From this morning's briefing...A decent thunderstorm threat is expected across the ArkLaTex over the next 24 hrs. Some storms will become severe and produce damaging straight line winds and small hail. Tornadic activity is not expected...but weak tornadoes can not be totally ruled out. Flooding impacts will be minimal...but flood prone areas may see some flooding with stronger thunderstorms.
